Wixper is for adults
You must be 18 or older to use Wixper. If you are under 18, do not enter a session.
Treat every match as a stranger
Wixper does not guarantee that another person is who they claim to be. A generated guest name is not proof of identity, age, location, or intent.
Keep personal information private
- Do not share your full name, home or work address, school, phone number, passwords, identity documents, financial details, or precise live location.
- Keep identifying documents, mail, photographs, screens, and location clues out of camera view.
- Do not follow links, download files, send money, or move to another platform because a stranger pressures you to do so.
Control audio and video
Text chat does not imply consent to audio or video. Turn on a camera or microphone only when you choose to, and stop whenever you are uncomfortable.
Audio and video are peer-to-peer when a direct connection is available. An encrypted relay is used only when a direct connection cannot be established.
Assume the other person can keep a copy
Wixper does not write chat content to disk, but a person can still photograph, copy, or record what appears on their own device. Do not share anything you would not want them to keep or distribute.
Recognise pressure and manipulation
- Leave if someone demands secrecy, money, intimate material, personal information, or immediate action.
- Be cautious of urgent stories, investment offers, job offers, prizes, romance requests, blackmail, or threats.
- Never send intimate material in response to a threat. Preserve only what you already control safely, leave the session, and seek appropriate help.
Skip or leave immediately
Use skip or leave as soon as a conversation feels unsafe, abusive, coercive, or unwanted. You do not need the other person’s permission or an explanation.
Report prohibited conduct by email

Immediate danger
Wixper is not an emergency service and cannot dispatch help. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services available in the relevant location.
