Keep the community adult-only
You must be 18 or older to use Wixper. Do not invite, encourage, or help anyone under 18 to join a session.
Start with respect
- Treat the other person with patience and basic courtesy.
- Do not make assumptions about identity, background, beliefs, or intentions.
- Accept that a stranger may skip or leave without explanation.
- End a topic or interaction when the other person says no or appears uncomfortable.
Consent is specific and reversible
Consent to text chat is not consent to audio, video, sexual conversation, screenshots, or recording. Ask first, respect the answer, and stop immediately if consent is withdrawn.
Protect personal information
- Avoid sharing your full name, home or work address, school, financial details, passwords, identity documents, or precise live location.
- Do not request or expose another person’s private information.
- Remember that the person you meet can copy or record what appears on their device even though Wixper does not retain the session.
Use skip and leave freely
You never owe a stranger continued attention. Skip or leave when a conversation is unwanted, uncomfortable, manipulative, or unsafe.
Do not bring harm into the room
Harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, non-consensual sexual conduct, scams, privacy violations, illegal activity, and attempts to involve children are prohibited. The Acceptable Use Policy gives the complete rules.
Reporting a concern
Report prohibited conduct by email to abuse@wixper.chat.
Immediate danger
Wixper is not an emergency service. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services available in the relevant location.
