Chats no longer end when you switch tabs or minimize the browser, and you can see when the person you are talking to steps away.

• Switching to another app or tab no longer ends your chat. The conversation stays open until you skip, leave, refresh, or close the tab.
• On phones, backgrounding the browser during a chat no longer returns you to the matching queue.
• The chat header now shows when the other person has switched away, and returns to online when they come back.
• Articles now carry a visible byline and publication date.
• Added security headers across the marketing site and enforced a content security policy on the chat app.

Every public page now ships real content instead of an empty shell, so pages load faster and can be found in search.
